Student Government may run out of funds for the 2nd year in a row. Here's how the senate is hoping to change

Student Government is again in a situation where it could run out of funds for É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ organizations. But a proposal in the É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ senate could look at changing the guidelines for how funds are allowcated. Student Body President Emmy Thompson and Treasurer Hannah Augsbach-Lamma said they also want to look at trying to increase a larger campus activity fee, creating a larger pool of money for funding.

Black alumni statue will be located on Horseshoe, board of trustees announces

The board of trustees said the Horseshoe will be the location for a statue honoring É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ's first admitted Black É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵs since reconstruction in a meeting on Friday. The university also held a ceremony for the renaming of 650 Lincoln to Celia Dial Saxon Hall, a Columbia civil rights activist and educator.
